Modern spacious Apt plus Solarium and Den in Downtown Vancouver with Parking and Pool Overview
First Impressions
Walking into Modern spacious Apt plus Solarium and Den in Downtown Vancouver with Parking and Pool, you immediately get that “this is way more than I expected” feeling. I mean, the name pretty much tells you everything, but seeing it in person — the space actually delivers on that promise of being genuinely spacious, which honestly surprised me given how cramped most downtown Vancouver accommodations can be. The whole setup feels more like staying at a friend’s really nice place than a typical hotel room.
Location & Neighborhood
Abbott Street puts you right in the heart of everything without the chaos of being directly on Robson or Granville. You’re literally a five-minute walk from Gastown’s cobblestone streets and all those Instagram-worthy spots, plus the seawall is right there when you want to escape the city buzz. What couples seem to love most — and I get why they rated the location 9.8 — is that you can walk to dinner in Yaletown, grab coffee in the morning near the waterfront, and still feel like you have a quiet retreat to come back to. The fact that this four-star place includes parking is honestly a game-changer if you’re driving in Vancouver.
The Space Itself
The apartment layout is what really sets this place apart from your standard hotel room. That den area gives you somewhere to actually spread out — I found myself using it as a workspace during the day and a proper living room in the evening. The solarium is honestly the star feature though; it’s this bright, airy space that makes the whole apartment feel bigger and gives you those city views without feeling like you’re in a fishbowl. You know what’s nice? Having actual room to unpack your suitcase and not live out of it for your entire stay.
Amenities That Matter
The pool area is well-maintained and never felt overcrowded when I was there, though it’s not huge — more of a refreshing dip situation than serious lap swimming. But honestly, the private parking is the real MVP amenity here. Anyone who’s tried to find parking in downtown Vancouver knows this saves you both money and major headaches. The kitchen setup is actually functional too, not just decorative like some places — I ended up cooking breakfast a couple times because the space made it feel natural, not cramped.
Why Guests Love It
This place works because it gives you the best of both worlds — you’re staying in a proper apartment with room to breathe, but you’re also getting hotel-style amenities and that prime downtown location. The 9.1 rating makes sense when you experience how the space actually functions for real life, not just looking good in photos. It’s the kind of place where you can have friends over for drinks, work comfortably if you need to, and still walk to everything Vancouver has to offer. For couples especially, having that extra space and the solarium for morning coffee just makes the whole experience feel more special than cramming into a standard hotel room.

Great location! Right next to the skytrain station and supermarket. The building has access to a swimming pool which is a great plus. Place is nice and clean. Would love to stay again next time!

What could be improved: Located in a dense area of downtown, did not feel safe to walk around due to many street entrenched people on the sidewalks. The condo was located very close to the sky train, which was very loud. The last train was at midnight & the first train was at 445 – it was very loud, ear plugs are a must. The suite has big windows with very old blinds that didn't block much light. The main bed was mediocre, the sunroom bed was a very lumpy foldable cot & the third bed was in a storage closet with no window, no air ventilation- this bed was similarly lumpy and horrible. The parking spot was against a wall – we couldn't get both our kids out when parked.
