The Room Experience

The rooms are what you’d expect from a solid Hampton Inn — clean, comfortable, and surprisingly spacious for downtown Vancouver standards. The beds are actually really good (I’m picky about this stuff), and the bathrooms are modern without being fancy. What I appreciated most was the little sitting area by the window — perfect for morning coffee while watching Robson Street come to life. The Wi-Fi works well, which honestly can’t be taken for granted, and there’s enough desk space if you need to get some work done.

The complimentary breakfast is where this place really delivers value. It’s an American-style buffet setup, but they do it right — hot items stay hot, there’s decent coffee, and you’ll find both healthy options and the comfort food stuff. I mean, when you’re paying downtown Vancouver hotel prices, having a solid breakfast included actually saves you quite a bit. The fitness center is small but functional, and there’s a business center if you need to print boarding passes or whatever.
