Embarc Vancouver Overview
First Impressions
Walking into Embarc Vancouver, you immediately get that sleek, modern condo vibe rather than your typical hotel lobby experience. This four-star property sits right on Hornby Street, and honestly, the location couldn’t be better — I mean, you’re literally in the heart of downtown Vancouver. The building itself has that glass-and-steel aesthetic that fits perfectly with the city’s skyline, and there’s something refreshing about staying somewhere that feels more like a temporary home than just another hotel room.
Location That Actually Matters
You know what’s great about this spot? You can walk to pretty much everything worth seeing in Vancouver. Coal Harbour is right there for waterfront strolls, Robson Street shopping is a few blocks away, and the seawall — well, that’s practically at your doorstep. I’ve stayed in a lot of downtown Vancouver hotels, and this location really does hit that sweet spot where you’re central but not drowning in tourist chaos. The fact that couples rate the location 9.9 out of 10 makes total sense when you realize you can walk to dinner, catch a show, or just wander the waterfront without needing transportation.
The Suite Life
These aren’t your standard hotel rooms — they’re actual apartment-style suites with full kitchens, which changes everything about how you experience the city. Having a proper kitchen means you can grab fresh ingredients from the nearby markets (Lonsdale Quay is a quick trip) and actually cook if you want to. The suites are spacious and modern, with floor-to-ceiling windows that give you those Vancouver views you came for. It’s the kind of setup where you could easily stay for a week and feel completely comfortable.
Amenities Worth Using
The fitness center is actually well-equipped — not just a couple of sad treadmills in a basement somewhere. After a day of exploring the city, that hot tub becomes your best friend, especially if you’ve been walking the seawall or hiking the local trails. Having parking available on-site is honestly a huge relief in downtown Vancouver, where finding a spot can be a nightmare. It’s one of those practical details that you don’t think about until you need it, and then you’re really grateful it’s there.
Why Guests Love It
This place works because it gives you the best of both worlds — the services and amenities of a quality hotel with the space and flexibility of having your own place in the city. The 9.1 rating reflects what you actually experience: a property that’s well-maintained, perfectly located, and designed for people who want to live in Vancouver for a few days rather than just pass through. Whether you’re here for business, exploring the city with someone special, or just need a comfortable base for Vancouver adventures, Embarc Vancouver delivers without trying too hard to impress.

Reviews of Embarc Vancouver

The floor to ceiling windows across the entire room framed perfectly the beautiful view of the snow capped mountains. We arrived very early on a Sunday morning and they had our room ready by 10am which we greatly appreciated. We are back in Vancouver in a few weeks and will definitely stay again.

Omg, the view! This property exists on the some of the highest floors inside the infamous Wall Centre building. It was so worth it to stay here.

The location of the Embarc was great- close to cafes and restaurants, easy to get around and central to accessing tourist attractions. Staying at the Embarc at the beginning of our holiday enabled us to rest, organise ourselves with ease, and orientate to Vancouver.
