  Barclay House is an exceptional place to stay.We entered the gate and were greeted by amazing Hallowe'en decorations.The house is certainly more than ready for ghosts and goblins.Dennis,our host, was so personable and gracious,not to mention warm and funny.We felt we had known him forever.There was another guest at breakfast,which was delicious,by the way,and the four of us had a wonderul time sharing travels and future plans.The suite we stayed in was beautifully decorated..the photo is on the description of Barclay House.The bed was so comfortable.There was a huge wall tv and a fireplace in the bedroom.We will surely return the next time we go to Vancouver.Thank you,Dennis for such a lovely,memorable time!Barclay House felt like more than just a pleasant overnight stay..it felt like home.We highly recommend staying here!

  Lovely comfortable room and the owners were really friendly and helpful (even let me leave my luggage at the B&B on my last day as I wasn't flying until the evening and wanted to explore). Fantastic location within walking distance of so many facilities and attractions. Everything was clean, comfortable and functional.

  Beautiful historic house with updated interiors. Very clean, comfortable and cozy, even decorated for spooky season! 15mins walking in any direction will find you parks, food, shops, and gorgeous nature. Location can’t be beat really. Dennis was so accommodating when one of us caught a food related bug and missed our flight, had to stay another night with almost no notice. Thank you for giving us peace of mind!

  The location can't be beat! Within walking distance of Stanley Park, lots of restaurants and shops. Breakfast each morning was fantastic. The front porch is welcoming and the perfect spot to relax in the evening and watch the life of the neighborhood.

  The location was perfect to our needs as it was central to everything in our itinerary, and we were able to easily walk to all the sights in Vancouver city. Very nice breakfast, and staff were happy to accommodate changes if requested. We also liked that breakfast was served to all guests together in the dining room, as this gave us an opportunity to get to know each other.
