  This apartment is in a lovely neighbourhood. We had all we needed at hand. There are no city views, in fact no views at all as the apartment is in the basement, however all rooms have a strip window to let light in and the lounge room has a large picture window. There is a full laundry with washer/dryer combination including washing detergent supplied – very handy. The bathroom has a good shower, plenty of towels, body wash, shampoo/conditioner plus a Dyson hairdryer – that was great! The kitchen has a small fridge, no oven but the basic needs were provided along with tea and coffee. The place has underfloor heating. The bedrooms are good with two comfortable queen-sized beds. We felt secure leaving our belongings when we went out sightseeing due to deadlocks on the door. Cafes, a bistro and bar, supermarkets and pharmacy etc are all a short walk away. We were given easy access and good communication from the owner. We would stay here again if the occasion arose.

  Location was excellent – near to Jericho Beach and with excellent public transit and Uber connections to the downtown. There was lots of room in the accommodation. And, despite there being a heatwave in Vancouver, it was cool, being a basement suite!
